Community Endowment Funds

Endowments are a strong expression of faith in a community's long-term vitality and capacity. We all long to live in communities that are safe, healthy, active, beautiful, and stimulating. When times are hard, and services are reduced or eliminated, it is hard to remain optimistic that conditions will improve. In these times, endowment funds give communities additional tools - in the form of capital - to help them survive and thrive into the future.

Community-managed endowments are particularly important because these are managed by a local organization. Unlike an out-of-area organization, which invests within a larger geographic area and serves many communities, a local community endowment is used for the target community only - in this case south Pacific County.

Year after year, decade after decade, the income from those investments will return to this area. Our entire community benefits over time from this steady and ongoing investment.
